Dr. Brett Hester, DMD

Dr. Brett Hester, a Valdosta native, began his dental journey as a lab technician in his father’s orthodontic office. He later pursued and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 2011. Dr. Hester is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Driven by a passion for transforming smiles and improving lives, Dr. Hester focuses on dental implants, full-mouth makeovers, and dental sleep medicine. With these tailored solutions, he has helped patients rediscover self-confidence, fall in love with their smiles, and alleviate dental-related anxieties. As an Invisalign Diamond Provider, he’s committed to creating beautifully aligned smiles with this trusted clear aligner solution.

Dr. Hester met his wife, Hayley, while attending the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, where she earned her master’s degree in occupational therapy. Both Valdosta natives, they grew up attending Valdosta City Schools, and Dr. Hester proudly served as a team captain on the Valdosta Wildcats football team that won the 1998 State Championship! Together, they have two wonderful children, Bryant and Ady, and are actively involved in serving at Perimeter Road Baptist Church. As a family, the Hesters enjoy traveling, relaxing at the beach, and spending time at their timber farm!

Having lived in Valdosta for over 20 years, Candy’s especially fond of spending time outside in her neighborhood and visiting family when she's not working.

She takes great satisfaction in fostering close bonds with the patients she looks after, ensuring they always feel informed. Lori enjoys beach days with her husband, Brent (her high school sweetheart, married for 26 years!), and watching her boys play ball outside the office.

She believes that building connections and fostering trust encourages patients to prioritize preventive care and maintain a healthy smile for life. When Desiray is not at the office, she enjoys baking homemade cookies and spending quality time at home with her husband and child.

She enjoys being a member of a committed, caring team that collaborates to promote each patient's health and well-being. Beyond practice doors, Kathryn loves being outside with her incredible kids and taking summer beach vacations and mountain retreats in the fall.

Melissa is passionate about helping patients overcome dental anxiety with a soft, gentle approach that puts them at ease. She takes pride in educating patients on the connection between oral health, overall wellness, and confidence. Melissa loves the sense of camaraderie within the practice and the relationships she builds with each patient. Outside the office, she enjoys cooking, reading, and visiting theme parks with her family—plus, a fun fact: she rescues cats in her spare time!
